The SPC Executive Committee is an advisory group dedicated to the SPC and its mission
Executive Committee members serve by providing perspective and expertise on industry trends, acting as ambassadors for the SPC, and providing strategic guidance on issues related to the SPC including its goals and activities. The Executive Committee includes elected representatives from SPC member companies, an appointed representative from the GreenBlue Board of Directors, and the SPC Director.
To ensure equitable representation of the supply chain on the Executive Committee, SPC policy requires a representation of:
- A minimum of two material manufacturers
- A minimum of two converters
- A minimum of two brand owners
Elected members serve three-year terms, and may serve multiple terms with one year between terms.
Between 2021 and 2023, the Executive Committee will expand from nine elected members to twelve elected members, with four elected positions open each year. The minimum supply chain representation requirements will be gradually augmented to correspond with the growth of the Executive Committee.
