Why do you want to serve on the Executive Committee?

The Sustainable Packaging Coalition represents the entire packaging value chain and is uniquely suited to drive the packaging industry into a more sustainable future. Sustainable packaging has progressed into the mainstream, where large corporations support ONLY sustainable packaging. This presents tremendous opportunities for SPC. With new SPC leadership in place, it’s an exciting time to help guide and influence the future of the Coalition.

What do you think you would contribute as an Executive Committee representative?

As an executive of one of the largest North American food and beverage packaging converters, and former president of a packaging association, I bring more than 25 years of experience in the industry. I have a well-respected and proven track record of advising and collaborating with many stakeholders to tackle tough challenges, like recycling and composting, labeling, policy issues, sustainable materials and products. Additionally, I participate on boards and committees at various allied organizations, such as Ameripen, Biodegradable Products Institute, Foodservice Packaging Institute, Association of Plastic Recyclers and others. I look forward to sharing knowledge and helping align complementary work streams.
