Why do you want to serve on the Executive Committee?

I’ve been an active member of the SPC almost since it’s inception and I know the value that this organization is bringing to the packaging industry. I served on the Executive Committee a number of years ago during a time when the organization was struggling with change and I know the guidance the committee members provide can have a significant impact on the success of the SPC. It’s exciting to see the growth of this organization and to see the positive impact it is having on the packaging industry. I want to help shape the programs the SPC are involved in and the influence it is having on the next generation of packaging professionals.

What do you think you would contribute as an Executive Committee representative?

I bring a balance of strengths from my years of packaging industry experiences and the understanding that there is no one perfect solution for every package. The historical perspective on both the packaging industry and the SPC are strengths that I also bring with me. I’ll provide guidance to the SPC leaders that aligns with the membership as well as the goals and mission of the SPC to help educate and promote more sustainable solutions for packaging.
