Tristram Stuart is an author, campaigner, entrepreneur, farmer, inspirational speaker and leading expert on the environmental and social impacts of food . His books have been described as “a genuinely revelatory contribution to the history of human ideas” (The Times) and his TED talk has been watched 2 million times. The environmental campaigning organisation he founded, Feedback, launched and led a global movement against food waste and continues to campaign to transform the food system. He is the founder of Toast Ale, which upcycles millions of slices of surplus unsold bread into beer and pours its profits into environmental charities. He is a Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum, a UN Champion of SDG 12.3, a National Geographic Explorer, an Ashoka fellow and winner of the global environmental award, The Sophie Prize. Tristram is also a regenerative farmer with three decades’ experience of rewilding and conservation.
