Nicole Stratman joined GreenBlue in 2025 after 15 years working predominantly in the spaces of experiential marketing, event production, and responsible tourism – all intentional fields relying on genuine, face-to-face interaction. After nearly a decade of leading international travelers through North American national parks, she was yearning for more hands-on impact with sustainability and regenerative solutions. She has leveraged her background in producing large-scale promotions, internal conferences and circularity-focused events to align with her values of mission-driven work. As a minimalist and cleanup enthusiast, she is fascinated by “stuff” and how we can rebuild behaviors that harken back to the past century’s emphasis on reuse and repurpose.
Beyond GreenBlue, Nicole stays involved by organizing volunteer-led community litter cleanups, promoting artisan upcycling markets, planning meaningful travel itineraries, and exploring her new-ish home of the Great Lakes region!
What is my why? If we only have this one life to live and we spend a majority of it working, why not leave our shared world a less messy and more pristine place?
