McKenna Morrigan is the waste prevention and product stewardship policy advisor for the City of Seattle. She has been directly involved in the development of multiple packaging-related laws and policy proposals in Washington State, including the Extended Producer Responsibility policy introduced in the state legislature this year. Previously, McKenna was a senior associate at Cascadia Consulting Group, where she was the lead author of a study on plastic packaging waste problems and solutions commissioned by the state legislature in 2019, as well as numerous other research and policy analysis efforts.
