Anna specializes in strategic and crisis communications, disaster response, intergovernmental relations, volunteer management, and community engagement. She is the NOLA Ready Public Engagement Director at the City of New Orleans Office of Homeland Security & Emergency Preparedness, where she oversees the NOLA Ready emergency preparedness campaign, including: emergency alerting & crisis communications, community engagement & outreach related to disasters, access and accessibility, and the NOLA Ready Volunteer Corps. In her former role as NOLA Ready Community Engagement Manager role, Anna built relationships with community stakeholders and develops strategies that engage and prepare residents for disasters and emergencies. During Hurricane Ida, Anna coordinated over $5.6 million worth of donations and financial contributions on behalf of the City of New Orleans, as well as facilitated more than 180,000 community meals over 10 days post-storm.
