The Sustainable Packaging Coalition (SPC) is excited to open applications for the fourth round of our SPC Events Scholarship Program.
For our past three events, SPC has received dozens of applications and awarded scholarships to exceptional students who identify as members of minority groups. These scholarships have helped students deepen their understanding of sustainable packaging, connect with industry leaders, and explore career opportunities within the field.
Today, we’re excited to open applications for the Fall 2026 SPC Events Scholarship Program!
Selected scholarship recipients will receive complimentary registration to SPC Advance 2026 in San Diego, including round-trip travel and hotel accommodations.

About the SPC Events Scholarship Program
The SPC Events Scholarship Program provides students with valuable opportunities to connect with packaging industry professionals, thought leaders, and peers who share a commitment to advancing sustainable packaging.
Through educational sessions, workshops, and networking opportunities, scholarship recipients gain exposure to the most pressing issues facing the packaging industry while building meaningful professional relationships. Students are also introduced to real-world applications of their studies, helping them identify potential career paths and establish connections that can lead to future internships and job opportunities.
The program seeks to empower students from underrepresented groups while strengthening the packaging community.
About SPC’s Fall Event: SPC Advance 2026 in San Diego
SPC Advance is SPC’s annual fall event, which brings together sustainable packaging professionals from across the value chain to explore the regulatory, market, recovery, and design realities shaping the future of packaging.
The event will be held in San Diego, California, from September 28–29, 2026.
