Lucy Pierce (she/her) is a Senior Project Manager at GreenBlue. Lucy leads the SPC’s Policy Pillar work, covering the Guide to EPR Proposals, Packaging Policy and Retailer Collaboratives, and the development of other policy related resources. Lucy has played a prominent role in multiple SPC Collaboratives encompassing Shipping Liquids and Reusable Packaging.
Lucy earned her Master’s of Environmental Studies from the Evergreen State College and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sustainability Studies and Cultural Anthropology from Otterbein University. Her background includes expertise in the environmental impacts and social perceptions of compostables + bioplastics, a fluent understanding of sustainable materials management, and a passion for policy and climate justice reform.
Prior to GreenBlue, Lucy was the Assistant Director of Sustainability at the Evergreen State College where she led climate action planning, zero waste goals, and sustainability reporting. When she is not pursuing her passions for sustainability, Lucy enjoys playing tennis and exploring new restaurants.
