Tristanne Davis joined GreenBlue in November 2017 as a Project Manager with the Sustainable Packaging Coalition (SPC). Her primary work with the SPC involves helping to shape and deliver on its Industry Leadership Committee initiatives, ASTRX project, and Forest Products work. Tristanne has a broad range of interests and experiences that span topics in the sustainable packaging and broader environmental field. Tristanne developed an interest in the environmental field at Skidmore college, where she embarked on a yearlong comparative study abroad program exploring sustainability topics in Tanzania, India, New Zealand and Mexico, learning from policy makers, businesses, NGOs and native communities.
After Skidmore, she spent three years in Washington DC working in international development and environmental policy consulting for client organizations like the World Bank and US Environmental Protection Agency. She has a passion for unique, challenging travel experiences, which led her to spend a year working at Project BonaFide, an NGO on a volcanic island in southern Nicaragua, where she helped to manage educational programs around climate resilient agriculture and support local food security projects for the island community.
Tristanne has spent the past three years in higher education. She graduated from the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies in 2016 where she studied Industrial Ecology, Forest and Environmental Sciences. She received a Fulbright Grant in 2016 to get her MBA at IE Business School in Madrid, Spain, where she further developed her interest in environmental entrepreneurship, completing her MBA in July 2017.
Tristanne is originally from Lambertville, NJ and has studied and worked in 7 countries. She is excited to join GreenBlue and use her training to help support their efforts and continue to learn and grow as a sustainability professional.
