SustainAbility


As a Director at SustainAbility Margo is an expert in developing sustainability strategies for leading companies. Based in Brooklyn, New York, Margo has worked across a number of sectors including food and beverage, consumer products, energy, pulp and paper, and finance. She has supported numerous clients in developing sustainability strategies, identifying priority issues and setting goals and KPIs. She is an expert in advising companies on effective transparency and reporting efforts as well as stakeholder engagement. Having worked closely with Becton Dickinson, Chipotle, Darden, Fibria, Nespresso, Pepsi and Stanley Black & Decker, Margo has both depth and breadth in helping companies strengthen their approaches to managing their environmental, social and economic issues.

Margo believes in the responsibility and opportunity companies have to take on regenerative approaches to create positive impacts on our environment, society and economy. She has co-authored two reports, See Change and Sustainability Incorporated, which offer in-depth perspectives on leading practice in embedding sustainability into corporate strategy.

Margo has a Masters degree in Environmental Management from the Yale School of Forestry and a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental studies from the University of New Hampshire. Prior to joining SustainAbility in 2012 Margo taught urban environmental studies to high school students through the AmeriCorps program.
