Lou Fenech

Lou Fenech is a Senior Associate Principal Engineer in the confections category for Mondelēz International. In his current role as Packaging Platform Leader, he develops and supports multi-region packaging initiatives for the Gum and Candy category. Lou currently leads sustainability for the Gum and Candy packaging team and is responsible for helping to deliver the company’s recently announced sustainability goals. These include making all packaging recyclable by 2025, ensuring all paper-based packaging will be sustainably sourced by 2020, and eliminating 65 million kg of packaging by 2020. Lou holds a B.S. Degree in Packaging Science from the Rochester Institute of technology and is a proud father of two. In his free time, he enjoys the culinary arts including making his own charcuterie and BBQ.
