Judd Michael

Judd Michael is Professor in the Department of Ag & Bio-Engineering at Penn State University where he is also affiliated with the PSU Sustainability Institute. Judd’s research team looks at why consumers recycle, the role of packaging design, and how sports venues can move toward zero waste. He has recently worked with PepsiCo on consumer acceptance of package designs, and with NASCAR’s Pocono Raceway to write a sustainability plan. His team has helped parts of Penn State’s football and hockey venues reach 100% diversion over the past three seasons. Judd has BS (Marketing) and MBA degrees from Texas A&M and a PhD from Penn State.
