This webinar is hosted by How2Compost, featuring the Biodegradable Products Institute (BPI). Attendees will gain insight into both How2Compost and BPI, achieve a better understanding of compostability certifications, learn how to get involved in the certified compostables community, and become informed about how to best message these certifications.  If your company has an interest in delving deeper into compostable packaging, this webinar is for you.

How2Compost is a standardized on-package label that clearly communicates composting instructions to the public. Both How2Compost and How2Recycle, its companion program, involve a coalition of forward thinking brands who want their packaging to be recycled and composted and are empowering consumers through smart packaging labels. How2Compost labeling system utilizes the certification standards of the Biodegradable Products Institute, to ensure that claims around compostability are not only standardized and simple, but also accurate. BPI is North America’s leading certifier of compostable products and packaging. Their third party certification program ensures that products and packaging displaying the BPI logo have been independently tested and verified according to scientifically based standards. BPI promotes best practices for the diversion and recovery of compostable materials through municipal and commercial composting.

Note: By registering for this webinar, you will receive an email 24-48 hours after the conclusion of the webinar with a link to the video recording of the webinar as well as a link to a PDF of the webinar’s slides.
